How to Retrieve Your LinkedIn Insight Tag ID

Follow these straightforward steps to create your LinkedIn Insight Tag, view the ID, and integrate it with your tag manager for seamless tracking of website analytics.

Step 1: Go to LinkedIn Campaign Manager​

  • Log in to your LinkedIn Campaign Manager using your LinkedIn credentials.

Step 2: Access Insight Tag​

  • Click on the Account icon in the top-right corner of the Campaign Manager.
  • From the dropdown menu, select Data > Sources.
  • Under Sources, click on Insight Tag.

Step 3: Create and Retrieve the Insight Tag ID​

  • Select I will use a tag manager and proceed with the setup.
  • Your Insight Tag will be created.
  • Click I will use a tag manager again to view the Insight Tag ID.
  • Note down the Insight Tag ID.
  • Click Done to finish the process.
